![]() ![]() That’s what I would call the hardcore fan base. And I can tell you, all of those people are using dungeons and leveling to facilitate their PvPing goals. Thats what hooked me into Diablo 2 and what made me pick it up again 4, 8, then 16 years after quitting initially… That’s the reason there are STILL people playing from it’s initial launch 20 years ago. In a system where you can be flagged for pvp by anyone at anytime, it’s a dog eat dog world akin to the wild west. The sole purpose of finding the elite items, was to join PUB DUEL games and test your metal. Whats the point of getting better gear so that you can run harder levels and get better gear? It’s enough to drive a person mad. The end game in those days had nothing to do with levels, ranks, waves, bosses, or gear progression. Ive done so many baal runs, and created so many different characters. I, myself, was an absolutely no-life junkie when Diablo 2 and LoD were out. ![]() ![]() They clearly are trying to please hardcore diablo fans, but i think they dont understand who we hardcore diablo fans are and what brought us to the franchise in the first place. and it’s not because of a lack of creativity or desire to produce a great game. I want to get excited about Diablo IV, but I know that i’m going to be let down. ![]()
